Sunday night is Pudsey night

With the annual BBC Children in Need Appeal almost upon us, the Manchester Phoenix are delighted to confirm that Pudsey Bear will be with us on Sunday night to help begin this years fund-raising.
                                                              
Assisted by staff from bmibaby, the sponsors of the Elite League who will be organising a bucket collection on the night, Pudsey will take part in the first period interval entertainment, be around for photographs throughout the evening and then be on hand to present the Man of the Match awards.

A Phoenix spokesperson remarked, "Naturally, we're very happy to have Pudsey with us in the build-up to Children in Need. It's a tremendous annual effort and with us expecting probably our biggest crowd of the season on Sunday with the visit of Sheffield, we’re sure both sets of fans will want to contribute."
