Phoenix agree to Panthers re-arrangement

Manchester Phoenix have agreed to a re-arrange a game in the National Ice Centre against the GMB Nottingham Panthers.

The bmibaby Elite League game originally scheduled for Saturday November 24th will now be played on Wednesday December 5th with face-off at 7.30pm.

Phoenix GM Andy Costigan advised, "My counterpart Gary Moran rang me on Monday morning to advise that he had lost a couple of Saturday home dates due to the NIC taking concert bookings, and asking if we could change to another Saturday. Our schedule is such that we didn't have a Saturday available that would suit the Panthers schedule and so we agreed to the Wednesday evening."

Panthers Gary Moran added, "I'd like to thank the Phoenix for agreeing to a switch of dates and their help in keeping the re-arranged date as close as possible to the original fixture."

Phoenix travel to the Basingstoke Bison on Saturday for a 7.00pm face-off before Sundays visit of the Nottingham Panthers to the Silver Blades Ice Dome with a 5.30pm face-off time.
