104.9 excellent reasons for Phoenix and Imagine link-up

Manchester Phoenix are delighted to announce the return of leading regional radio station 104.9 Imagine FM as a major media partner for the new season.

The Stockport-based radio station covers the whole of South Manchester and out into Cheshire and will provide the Phoenix with regular game advertising throughout the coming season, news coverage and results service in their daily sports bulletins.

Imagine FM Station Director Steve Howarth noted, "The Phoenix are a great fit for our station. We have excellent relationships with local sports teams Stockport County and the Sale Sharks, and Elite League ice hockey is another terrific family night out. We're really looking forward to the Phoenix having a great season in their new home and we're proud to be associated with them."

Phoenix GM Andy Costigan, pictured signing contracts with Steve Howarth commented, "Imagine are a great group of people to be involved with and we're extremely happy to have them as a media partner. They are totally professional, send reporters to every home game and this has resulted in excellent radio exposure for our club to their ever-increasing listening audience throughout the region."
