Phoenix sign netminder

The Manchester Phoenix office have confirmed that signed contract paperwork has been received from the clubs new goalie.

Speaking to us here at the club website, GM Andy Costigan advised, "The fax started to whirl and gurgle on Friday and I'm delighted to confirm it was the paperwork we've been waiting for. I've spoken to the player myself and so it's all systems go to release the news... on Tuesday morning. As Tony said last week at the "Big One" supporters event, he is very happy to sign this player as he feels he could be right up there with the best goalies in the league."

We tried hard to get him to give us a clue, but without success. But, the good news for everyone is the player has signed, the paperwork has been received and in a couple of days, the waiting will be over.
