Manchester Phoenix held their Awards Evening on Wednesday night to celebrate the clubs return to top-flight ice hockey this season
With the Phoenix preparing for their two-legged Playoff quarterfinal against the Cardiff Devils this coming weekend, it was the perfect evening for the whole playing squad to relax with the fans ahead of the games.
Over 150 fans and sponsors turned up to witness the award ceremony, which saw the following honours voted for by the fans.
Forward of the Year - Johan Molin
Defenceman of the Year - Simon Mangos
Young Player of the Year - Adam Walker
Player of the Year - Johan Molin
In team awards, the Players' Player of the Year went to Johan Molin and the Swedish star who finished the regular season with a team-leading 40 goals also picked up the Coaches Player of the Year accolade.
The evening also saw some more light-hearted awards presented and a number of raffles and auctions, the star of which was a special Mike Kiesman shirt that raised a staggering £500.
