Phoenix to play out January

The Manchester Phoenix organisation has today agreed to compete in this weekend's English Ice Hockey Premier league. This is to allow a potential Investor additional time to finalise due diligence and conclude their observations of the clubs operating expenditure going forward.

The organisation would like to thank all the fans around the country and The Manchester Phoenix Supporters club for raising money that has helped let the club compete over the last two weeks.

Neil Morris the current owner has however specified that he will expect a firm commitment by next Tuesday the 31st January 2017 from the potential investor or he will have to withdraw the Manchester Phoenix from Competition finally.

Sundays home game will take place at the Silverblades Ice Rink in Widnes, faceoff at 16:00.
