Bee swarm heading for the Dome

The J Davidson sponsored Manchester Phoenix entertain the Bracknell Bees at the Ice Dome on Sunday 23rd October with the usual 17.30 face off.

The Bees are a much improved side this season despite losing striking duo Jaroslav Cesky and Michal Pinc and British forward Nicky Watt to Swindon Wildcats.

However coach Gareth Cox has recruited astutely and there are a couple of names to watch out for on Sunday.

At the back, Sergejs Louskins has been brought in as an import defenceman and his experience will help the blue line corps. Add old Phoenix favourite Carl Graham, doing an enforcing job these days, and they are looking much stronger than last season.

Up front, three names jump out at you. Martin Masa and Lukas Smital have moved to Berkshire from Guildford and Peter Jasik has committed to the club for another season. These three are proven strikers in the league and give the Bees plenty of firepower up front.

This game will be an exciting, close affair and is likely to be another exciting chapter in our defence of the title. With the lads all putting in extra shifts to cover injuries, they really need the fantastic support of the Phoenix faithful more than ever.
