Phoenix announce new backroom team

The Manchester Phoenix can reveal exciting new additions to its backroom team ahead of the 2011-12 season.

Mags Pullen will continue in her role as Office Manager and match night co-ordinator for the Phoenix. Mags has been associated with the club since 2003 when the Phoenix were operating out of the MEN Arena.

Pete Hagan also remains as the Phoenix’s popular match night announcer and Phoenix TV presenter, in addition to running the club’s E-Zine for supporters and sponsors.

Jim ‘Tambo’ Piper is the club’s Press Officer for the new season, utilising his breadth of hockey knowledge to bring you news and interviews from the players. Tambo is also the Phoenix’s Front of House Manager, responsible for the entry of supporters on match nights.

Finally, Nicholas Bevan has been appointed as the club’s new Public Relations & Commercial Manager, leading the club’s PR activities off the ice and generating additional sponsorship from the local business community.

Managing Director Neil Morris commented, “I’m very pleased to have such a strong and vibrant team around me for the new season. As we build on the success of last year’s championship winning team, Phoenix fans can look forward to another great season of Phoenix TV and improved communication with both the press and our commercial partners.”
