Manchester Phoenix have been handed a tough tie in their EPL Cup semi final.
They will play Basingstoke Bison over two legs next week. The away game in Basingstoke is on Tuesday February 15th, followed by the home leg at the Altrincham Ice Dome on Thursday February 17th. The game starts at 7.30pm.
With Phoenix still chasing silverware on three fronts – Cup, League and Playoffs – the season has the potential to be the most successful in their history, but Phoenix player coach Tony Hand knows nothing can be taken for granted.
He said: “Everything is still up for grabs this season, and I know everyone wants something to show for the effort the guys have put in so far.
“But there is still a long way to go. Bison are a tough, physical side and they are not afraid of the rough stuff. It promises to be two games of intense, winner takes all hockey.”
