Clancy signs for Blackburn!

Manchester Phoenix are delighted to be able to confirm that Brit Pack netminder Dave Clancy has signed for Blackburn Hawks in the ED1 North. Clancy said “I am chuffed at receiving the call from Blackburn – I had resigned myself to taking a year out – but the call came from Bobby Haig to my sheer delight! I am looking forward to starting as many games as possible to get as much ice time as I can to ready myself for next season with the Phoenix. In the meanwhile – I intend to give Blackburn everything I have to and to get my career back on track. I am looking forward to seeing Manchester fans soon!”

Clancy is due to make his debut on the weekend of 30th October.
