Manchester Phoenix Supporters Club

At last, fan pressure has paid off! The Phoenix organisation has decided to set up an official Manchester Phoenix Supporters Club. The aim of the Supporters Club will be to bring together the fanbase, help boost the overall package offered to the fans through various events and opportunities and generate direct feedback between the fans and the organisation so we can give you more of what you want.

Signing up for the Supporters Club will cost £6 (a flat rate for all), and this will be valid for the remainder of the 2009/2010 season, right up until July 31st.

The benefits you gain from signing up to the supporters club are:

• DISCOUNTS! The first 100 people to sign up for membership will get 20% off their ticket for a Phoenix cup game. The next 100 people will get a 10% discount.
• PLAYER PRESENTATIONS! Every month, you will vote for your player of the month and, at the end of the season, your player of the year. The players will be presented with their award on the ice at the final game of each month. One lucky member, per prize, will be drawn at random to present the player with their award. All members are eligible for each draw.
• FREE STUFF! The first Supporters Club meeting (exact arrangements TBC) will be open, free of charge, to all members. This is where we’ll lay out exactly what we intend to do and you get to ask any questions or raise any queries you may have. It also gives us an excellent excuse for a bit of a get-together.
• EVENTS! All events will now be organised through the Supporters Club and will be open to members only. We’ll also fit in competitions, raffles and other bits and pieces throughout the year.

Members will also receive, along with a Supporters Club pack, a monthly newsletter which will let you know what we’re up to and what we’re planning to do with the Supporters Club, photos and fan accounts of previous events and an events list letting you know what’s coming up. You’ll also receive a birthday e-card from the club!
