bmibaby unveiled as first ever sponsor of Ice Hockey's Elite League

bmibaby, the award winning airline with tiny fares, has been unveiled as the first ever sponsor of ice hockey's Elite League.

The airline has signed a seven-year deal to support the league and its ten nationwide teams. The sponsorship deal will include the re-naming of the league to the "bmibaby Elite Ice Hockey League", plus numerous other benefits including branding at stadiums across the country.

Ice hockey is one of the UK's fastest growing spectator sports, attracting families and fans of all ages. bmibaby is hoping to build awareness of ice hockey in the UK by helping the league to access a wider audience. bmibaby's low fares, which start from just £13.99 one way, including taxes and charges, offer fans the opportunity to see their team play in Edinburgh and Belfast.
