Duggan blow for Phoenix

J Davidson sponsored Manchester Phoenix are likely to be without their energetic forward Tom Duggan for the weekend’s games against Sheffield Steeldogs and Swindon Wildcats.

Tom was injured in a collision in the first period of Sunday evening’s win over Telford Tigers. He left the ice and was unable to return to the game.

Coach Hand commented: “Tom has been receiving treatment from our physiotherapists but I doubt if he will make this weekend’s games. As always, we will just get on with things and we are looking forward to the weekend and two tough games against the Steeldogs and Wildcats.”
