Slough jetting into the Dome

J Davidson sponsored Manchester Phoenix entertain the Slough Jets at the Dome on Sunday with the usual 17.30hrs face off.

This will be the teams’ last meeting of the regular season with the Jets having taken the points in the two previous encounters in Altrincham. Phoenix will be keen to redress the balance, especially as the Berkshire team are just behind them in the league standings.

Jets are a highly potent offensive team and are the league’s second top scorers with over 200 goals and inflicted Phoenix’s heaviest defeat of the season with a 9-0 win in Slough.

Darius Pliskauskas, Adam Calder and Doug Sheppard have scored 100 goals between them this season and they are supported by arguably the best British forward in the league, Joe Greener, with 51 assists.

Phoenix will be looking to extend their amazing 12 game home winning streak and keep on Guildford’s coat tails as the chase for the title goes on.

This game is sure to be feisty with Ryan Watt and Adam Greener always looking to intimidate the opposition.

Spring is sprung, it is only 4 weeks to play off weekend. Time to dust down the vocal chords and get behind the team for what will be a difficult task against the Jets. The Dome is the place to watch Manchester’s fastest and most exciting sports team, Manchester Phoenix.
