With just 8 weeks to go in the regular season Phoenix are sitting 4 points clear of their rivals Guildford and everything in the camp is looking good to the outside world. However due to injuries that players are carrying both on and off the ice and the small squad we have the guys are becoming extremely tired, the only way to give them a boost would be to bring in an extra body but we are struggling to find the extra funds to pay for one. The signing deadline is approaching and we are trying to sign a new player. The supporters club have once again stepped in to help but they need more members to make a difference, we also need to find his accommodation. Therefore, we are desperate to find someone who could provide a room for him and ease our huge financial burden. Could you give someone a warm welcome in your home and be pivotal in the success of the Phoenix achieving their goal of winning Silverware this season? Come on Manchester let's do this together and all be part of making history this season. If the other clubs can do it so can we. Manchester has the best fans in the league, let's prove it. We will be holding an extra ordinary general meeting on Wednesday 2nd February, 7.30pm at the Cresta Court Hotel, Altrincham. Please come along it is open to everyone who feels passionately about this club and its future.
