The Man of Ice Awards

The inaugural 'Man of Ice' Awards will take place at the Nottingham Gateway Hotel on Friday 4th April, in conjunction with the bmi baby elite league's Playoff Weekend. This event will honour the most talented players and most respected affiliates from the 2007/8 season and will be televised by Sky Sports.

Who will win the coveted player of the year award? He may be this seasons top points scorer but will the coaches vote Adam Calder the best forward? These awards will no doubt cause discussion and controversy everywhere from fans forums to the national press. Have your say now.

We're asking you to vote online in 2 categories:

• Fan's Favourite of the Year
• Hard as Ice Award

In total, ten prizes will be awarded at what will be the off-ice highlight of the season. In attendance will be superstar players, team coaches, sponsors and Elite League and member club officials - truly a celebration of the Elite amongst the Elite. And we're giving you a chance to be there.

We are raffling 10 pairs of tickets to this prestigious black tie awards ceremony which will include a 3 course, silver service meal, your chance to be there hob knobbing with the stars and maybe even see yourself on TV.
