Channel 4 call on Pete Hagan

Tuesday, 26th November 2013

Manchester Phoenix Sledge Hockey coach, Pete Hagan, was call upon by Channel 4 earlier in the week. Channel 4 are preparing their presenters for the upcoming Sochi 2014 Paralympic Games by holding mock interviews.

Pete was asked to go down to London, to their Millbank studios in London where he would be informing the presenters in training, Arthur Williams and Rachel Latham, about the game of ice sledge hockey in four mock interviews that would be recorded and then viewed for feedback.

Pete was asked a variety of questions ranging from who were the favourites to win the gold medal to why the GB sledge team failed to qualify for Sochi 2014.

The Paralympic games begin on 7th March and conclude on the 16th. There are five events in total and the sledge hockey will be taking place at the Shayba Arena, with the first preliminary games starting on the 8th March. The first game faces-off at 9:30am and the bronze medal game on the 15th facing off 13:00pm before the gold medal game at 20:00pm.
