Alan Ravey of the Manchester Phoenix Junior Club recently had the good fortune to travel to the west coast of America on business. Included in his itinerary was a trip to San Jose and he was able to take in a Sharks game. Naturally enough, he took his sons' Phoenix shirt and wore it with pride in the HP Center in downtown San Jose.

Alan noted, "I got quite a lot of comment about the design and people there seemed genuinely interested that ice hockey is alive and well in the UK. I swapped business cards with a number of people out there and you never know what might come of that. The Shark Tank is a great place to watch hockey and we saw a stunning game - made all the boring business well worth while to see the Sharks and show off our Phoenix colours."
